The Globe Artichoke
Globe artichokes aren’t to everyones taste (my husband isn’t a fan) and they do take a lot of space for not many globes, but I love them so they will always be found on my plot. They are easy enough to start from seed as I did with mine but I didn’t leave them enough space so have upset them by moving them later.
“They” reckon a globe artichoke plant will last for 4 or 5 years maximum so
A lot of people don’t really know what to do with them. I’m just going to take a few of the bottom leaves off then throw them in a pan of boiling water with a little squeeze of lemon.
